E=MC4I, along with Robert Bosch LLC and SPAWAR, is sponsoring FIRST* Robotics Team 3489. The rookie team (also known as “Category 5”) has 6 weeks to design, build and test a robot that will compete March 25-26 at the Palmetto Regional Robotics Competition in the North Charleston Coliseum. If they do well there, Team 3489 could go to the National Competition in St. Louis, Missouri.

E=MC4I is providing the team with Waterjet and laser jet fabricated parts, helping to keep their robot light and strong, while greatly reducing the fabrication time.

*FIRST (“For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”) is a program started 20 years ago to connect students with engineers and technicians in an exciting hands-on challenge.  FIRST includes competitions for grammar, middle and high school age students, with thousands of teams across the country and around the world. E=MC4I, Inc completes re-branding efforts http://www.emc4i.com/2010/10/02/emc4i-rebranding/#utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss Sat, 02 Oct 2010 15:00:37 +0000 http://www.emc4i.com/?p=72 E=MC4I, Inc. hired creative firm A+S Ideas Studio to develop an extensive revamp of its brand image, in order to better represent its positioning as a state-of-the-art metal fabrication company.

The project included the creation of a new logo, inspired by the precise and polished waterjet and laser cutting work E=MC4I, Inc. is known for, the development of a modern, database-driven website equipped with the latest HTML5 standards, as well as collateral materials. A+S Ideas Studio also produced high-quality photography of the company’s facilities, its staff, and samples of its broad range of metal fabrication work; these photographs can be seen throughout this website, and other print materials.

The re-branding effort is another step in E=MC4I’s goal to solidify its status as the most technologically-equipped 8(a) Certified metal fabrication shop in the state.
